Small Blackwood box with Thuya burl insert

Made this up at Steve Kennard's class. Solid blackwood box with a thuya burl insert. Little bit of chattering between rings on the base. 3 1/4" tall.
:-)

Bought a bunch of it at the symposium, Gerald. But truth is, I'm very frugal with it. I made the finial on a small box with a "scrap".

But there's no such thing as too much wood, right?

Thanks Doug. I really like this wood. Great to turn.
