Small bowl

I was gifted a bag of small centers from a person who recently cored a batch of bowls. Most are 7" or less and not desired by original maker. This is a silver maple processed 6/23/2023, so it still had a bit of moisture.

After it was turned a bit of texture and pattern, were added using a microcarver and woodburner. Three colors of milk paint were mixed (black, slate, and driftwood). After burnishing the surface with steel wool, an acyclic was added to highlight the wear.
