Spalted Maple Vase

This started out as an urn but I was overly aggressive in hollowing (went through the side) somade a design modification. The finish is Envirotex, 2-part epoxy so this vase will hold water. I adapted a rotisserie motor to my lathe headstock to slowly turn the piece as the finish cured. I left it on the lathe overnight.
