Spalted Sugar Maple Vessel

Spalted Sugar Maple Vessel

With all the snow I have had a chance to do some turning and finishing. This is another one out of the sugar maple butt log that showed good spalting. Turned green from the frozen block. The pith was too soft to get a smaller opening. The HF is spalted Sugar Maple, 9 tall x 8.25. Sanded to 600 grit. Oil finish. Comments or critiques welcomed.
