Suspended bowl

Suspended bowl

Ash with bent lamination legs. The rim of the bowl and the legs were burnt and wire brushed.
Nicely done.

The connections from the bowl to the legs seem a little beefy to me which seem to diminish the suspension effect. But it is hard to judge these things from just a picture.

Anyway, you're engineering and construction looks pretty good.

I agree with Ed about the beefiness of the legs; otherwise a great design that is well executed.

Thanks for the comments Ed and Michael.

You're right, the dowels are to large. Failure on my part to visualize the "sum of the parts". It was the first thing that struck me when I started assembling the piece.
