Inspired by Malcolm Tibbetts and others, I recently completed this 1,368 segmented piece and entered it into the Minnesota State Fair. I received a blue ribbon and the Peterson Memorial Award. Quite an honor. It is made from hard maple and measures 13 inches in diameter.
