Twenty Magic Ball Boxes

As some know, most of the turning I've done in the past was for magicians. Here are the last pieces I've made for this purpose.
Angelo, what is the chuck you are using for those turnings? Looks like it is perfectly suited for the ball & cup. The technique for getting the spherical shape is interesting to me - not something I would have thought of, but after watching your video it makes perfect sense - essentially sneaking up on the sphere.

That’s an old Axminster Precision Chuck with 2” O’Donnell jaws
Just so happens the ring is 2” dis
