Walnut Jewelry Dish

Walnut Jewelry Dish

This little walnut dish is from a crotch branch. It is about 7 ½” around and 2” tall. I was practicing making a winged bowl and decided to make it round instead of highlighting the limbs. I mentioned to my wife it could be a little jewelry dish. She liked that and immediately claimed it. So I guess that is what it is.

Self critique: I should have more curve on the outside of the bowl.
I agree with Russell. Self critique is always useful & can point out to others areas you ( the creator) see as possible areas to improve.
I really like your single piece bowl-shallow plate concept.
