Who gets the birdhouse?

The segmented woodturners chapter is doing a segmented birdhouse challenge. This is my contribution. The birdhouse is 5” tall and is canarywood and sapele. The frames around the windows and door are stabilized and dyed poplar. The tree trunk in 9” tall and is also segmented, then carved and painted with acrylics.
Well done, Al ... love it! The tree trunk is fantastic. If I squint real hard - it almost looks like an artistic version of a bird as well ... with a long beak and an eye! :p

Wow! How do you ever do birds that small. You must have been a dentist in a former life, I love it.

This is an excellent composition Al. There’s a ton of work that went into this beauty; there’s a whole lot of fun in the piece as well!! Nicely done Al!
