Looks good...how did the class go...any problems to be prepared for? We are teaching similar class in a couple of weeks down here in TN, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

We had more beginning turners than I expected, three don't have lathes and one had 2 hrs experience. The class went from 9 to 3 and most took home to finish. They understood the process, or they will wait until next class to work on it.
The group talked for 1/2 hr to get their feedback on how we can improve. One of their suggestions was to have one session for spindles and people make 3 or 4 then next class do top and base.
We painted because that's where I usually go and it would be faster/better to skip that step for the beginner.
Most of the immermedite and advanced are making them on their own and don't need the class other than the social aspect.
We have handout from. WIT but might be making notes and suggestions so they can. Have prior to class.
