    15 inches across and 2 inches in height. This burl was cut in the 50's. I had a bit of trouble with finishing and had to re finish it 3 times.

    Old growth redwood burl

    This was from a old growth redwood burl that someone gave me. His father collected it back in the 50's. Litterly dry as a bone. Finished with shellac. About 8 inches wide. The grooves didn't turn out so well because of the powder dry condition of the wood.
