$950

Includes the original banjo, plus a Robust Sweet 16 dogleg banjo. (two banjos shown)

Additional accessories include a 6" tool rest, two spindle wrenches, Several good headstock lamps.

The Leeson 1.5hp DC motor and Minarik controller have been added about a dozen years ago......works great....these alone cost me more than I'm asking for this old cast iron lathe!

Headstock bearings replaced about 8 years ago. (note: includes a new bearing set and a couple new drive belts....) The bearings currently in it are good to go for probably years to come.

I and a friend can supply some manpower to help you load it up, but I offer no crating/shipping. You need to come and get it... :) 525lbs

It looks brand new and very handsome in the original green they came in back then.

A great lathe that will be good for many decades to come. They were made here in Adelaide and some are still in use over sixty years later.

I did the same upgrade with the electronics on one of mine, which kept it competitive with the newer makes and models that came after it.

There will is going to be one lucky new owner!

For $1,100 total price, I'll throw in this custom-made steady rest. It was made specifically for this Woodfast 16" lathe. There are five wheels that are position-able in nine locations around the circumference. Of course, all mounting hardware is included... :)
