303 Aerospace Protectant

Hi Dave, I use this product all the time on my cars, however, I have never used it on my face shield. This is a good question, I also would like to know if it is safe on plastic. Maybe someone has used it on their face shield. With the plastic in cars like on the dash it gives it a shine without the greasy residue.

Here's another ad for the same stuff.....says it's for plastic.

At a recent club meeting a member suggested using this product on your face shield to keep it clean from dust. I wonder if anyone else has used this? https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Eagle-3...5854&sr=1-1&keywords=303+aerospace+protectant

I'm always nervous about using sprays around wood after having some problems with silicone lubricant.

Their website’s FAQ says:
What is 303® Aerospace Protectant™?
303® Aerospace Protectant™ is a water-based proprietary formula that contains no petroleum distillates, alcohol, mineral oil or harmful silicone oils.

I use motorcycle helmut cleaner when it really needs cleaning. I use once used dryer sheets for most wipe downs. It keeps the static down and cleans the dust quite nicely. don'tuse a fresh sheet it scratches the plastic.
