I'm going to be selling my used 3M air stream. The belt power pack is a problem for me to put on due to arthritis. Thinking of sanitation and other issues (covid)

Interesting question. I don't know that there is an answer. I would sell it used & as is. If I was buying it I would put in new filters, but I would assume the blower and hose, being downstream of the filters, were clean. The helmet and face shield I would wipe out with something or other cleaner. Now if the last time it was used was on a Covid ward that might change things.

This is a question the CPap users might have some thoughts on. I agree with Mark. I would leave it up to the buyer to decide on a level of concern and a solution.

When training with the breathing air systems at work, we would wipe all internal mask surfaces with alcohol wipes prior donning after someone else trained...had little packages of the wipes on hand.
