Wow, hard not to watch that and think "I stink." There is so much going on after the turning.

It is amazing work. Rather than admitting that my work stinks, I prefer to see woodturning as a medium that is bounded only by ones imagination. Going to a symposium and walking through the instant gallery is a great way to recharge my creative batteries.

The instant gallery is one experience I always enjoy.
It can be a bit humbling as well as challenging.
There are always a few mysteries as to how in the heck did they do that.
It can also give those that put pieces in a sense of accomplishment.
