AAW Symposium St. Paul - Who's Going?

Incredible workmanship. Not only a skilled turner, but meticulous carver and painter as well.

I was wondering, are the in-person attendees going to get access to the virtual recordings? I've really enjoyed the videos from last year (OK, I still am) but I'd like to see some of the dsessions from this year that I missed.
I agree not sure how to access?

All registered attendees will have access to the recorded sessions. They won’t be ready for a couple of weeks, though. The videos are edited for quality before releasing for viewing.

I figured it was something like that. Editing footage like that can be time consuming, but makes a much better end product. Last year's recordings were great!

THANK YOU volunteers! All the people who set up all the equipment and operated the cameras and computers did a great job. I'm sure there's a lot more behind the scenes stuff that the rest of us never see, (like tool room, packing/unpacking, etc.) that keeps it all going smoothly. It's awesome that they volunteer their time and care about the work they do.

Well, I had an interesting chat with Vince Welch, of Vince's WoodNWonders yesterday. He commented that it was just too expensive for him to do the show, in part because of shipping since he doesn't have a trailer. Also, booth spaces are getting very expensive. He commented that attendance was way down, in part due to the "virtual" symposium which could be viewed for $100, which is cheaper than actually going to the show. He also commented that other vendors were using smaller booth spaces because of costs. Kind of makes me wonder what the future will hold.

I attended to Symposium on Friday and again on Sunday. I attended a couple of excellent Demo's and the gallery was incredible. However, I wound up flying home with a bag full of heavy tools and fixtures and a much lighter wallet. There is a reason why my wife groans each time I attend this and similar shows.
