If you haven't checked out the AAW HOMEPAGE recently, the amounts for what was earned at this year's EOG ("After Banquet") auction have been posted. Between the silent and live auctions, we took-in a total of $102,700 ! ! ! A record amount, despite the current 'financial milieu'....

It looks like about $ 62.8K (ca. 61% of gross) will be added to the EOG funds to be awarded in 2010. At a maximum of about $ 1,500 per grant, that's roughly 41 (or more) awards which were earned through auction proceeds.

This should answer some of your PM questions I received from a number of you regarding how much we raised at the AAW's auction on June 27th.

I am looking forward to participating in the EOG auction next year in Hartford - I hope you are too! Thanks to AAW President Bill Haskell for supplying this information. Thanks also to all that donated to this event - both as donors and as bidders!
