Built this little add on, so wherever I park my lathe for use, I have good overhead lighting.

I can rotate the arm so the light can be positioned directly above the spindle to about 8 inches closer to me, so it illuminates the business side better.

I can remove it with two knobs.

The LED light is very lightweight, otherwise I would probably have to bade beefed up the support.

I did the exact same thing. I love those led double tube lights.
