There is still time to get in on the fun in person

1. 1st stop Registration begins at 3pm Thursday.

2. 2nd stop - Check the message board and posted rotations schedules for the latest information. The last changes to the schedule were made 13 June. Use any earlier schedule at your own risk. before you go check the current schedule http://www.woodturner.org/sym/sym2009/ScheduleByRotation.pdf

2. Turn in your gift to the Return to the Community. In addition to supporting a great charity, you show your support for the the Local AAW members who have been working their tails off to make this a great sympsoium.

3. Buy a tee shirt while they still have your size. Or wait until the odd sizes go on sale Sunday.

4. Set a goal of meeting 5 new friends. Make the first one standing in line to put your pieces in the instant gallery.

5. visit the resident artist area. You will want to see Jean-Francois Escoulen in the early stages of his work. This will set the stage for your later visits to watch an artist in motion from concept to finished piece. Watching him work from Thursday through Saturday would be time well spent.

6. at 7:30 go to the La Cienega room on the upper level. Terry Martin and Jacques Vesery will be giving a slide show and talk you won't want to miss. You may even see one of Sherry's slides.

Have a safe trip!
