American Woodturner issue arrived—

I actually downloaded the entire archive (one by one) from the first journal publication in 1986 and read them all, have them sitting in a folder now. Would be easy enough to just save them to a USB stick I'd think

That's a good idea. I'll definitely look for the back issues.

BTW, I've done that for some web sites I liked but went off line. For example, the wonderful gentleman Stephen Russell had some excellent articles on his web site but apparently eventually closed it down. I would find articles I like on the internet archive (Wayback Machine). Eventually, I downloaded the html files for all of the articles that interested me, along with the photos. Organized them so I can access them all on a local drive just as if the web site were still active. (Note: the internet archive is SLOW, so if someone does this have patience!)

I bought a thumb drive with a bunch of FWW magazines once, as well as the one More Woodturning Magazine offered. (It came in a nice wooden case with a lid held on by tiny magnets - classy!)
