I've just setup a new group for those with an interest in Robust lathes and equipment - a place to share information, techniques or just ask a question of those who currently turn 'Robustly'. It is a public group - open to owners, users and those who just want some information on this fine line of turning equipment.

Look under the Community pull-down menu above to access all groups within the forum. It's a great new feature and a way to connect with other users.

FYI, you can only see the Community button if you are logged in as an AAW member.

A forum member -- it is not necessary to be an AAW member. I logged in yesterday and posted in the Robust group before getting my new password and username set up to log into the AAW main site.

Follow up: I just wanted to make sure that I was telling the truth so using Firefox I logged out of the AAW main site and closed the browser. Then I opened Firefox and went to the AAW main page -- it showed that I was not logged in. Next, I went to the forum where I am automatically logged in and I could see the Community link. Next, I tried Internet Explorer and I could not see the Community button. I discovered that I was not logged into the forum onInternet Explorer so I logged in and voila, the Community button is now there.

Looks like the new 'security system' is taking over - I was all setup with new u.n. and pw, but now it seems like one of us has forgotten...technology running rampant.
