Unfortunately, that is what happens with these sort of things. I absolutely do not need a 4224, but played along with the auction for fun. While most of the name was obfuscated, each of the 4 lathes had several of the same people bidding.
They went for about $1500.
Each, or for the whole lot? Either an amazing deal, or once in a lifetime!
Each. My friend who has a 4224 is an auction addict and put in some low bids. I keep telling him to admit that he is powerless but he has not yet hit bottom.
