I have a neighbor near my Dad’s home that has a Japanese Blueberry that he has mentioned we could harvest. Is this wood good for any turning projects? Anyone have experience with it?
Sounds like a hardwood, I'd say grab some and go turn it, if you can get pieces big enough to make suitable projects... (That is to say, as far as I am concerned, if it is wood, I'll turn it, and find out. Just one caveat, I try to look up the wood on google if I haven't used it before just to see if there might be any possible health risks - some woods can actually poison you, and others can cause nasty reactions to parts of it... )
