Art and Glow resin

Is art and glow resin good for bowl turning
I see it mixes 1 to 1 like alumilite

Art N' Glow is a popular (expensive) brand, but there are dozens of other epoxy resins to choose from. Yes, it can be used with turnings, to fill voids or to join pieces of wood together. But, it does not turn as easily as Alumilite. There are a few tricks to using it, mainly...how to make it flow into tight spots, getting the bubbles out and adding color. Check YouTube for hundreds of how-to videos.

Epoxy resin is mainly used to cast things (like interesting cabochons):

...and as an artwork protective covering. Ends up looking like a sheet of glass:
