Richard, if I may ask without taking over this thread, how do contributors like yourself decide if your articles stay with the publisher or if they can be distributed by you as digital files? Contracts? I see, in the woodturning community, variations where some authors have their published article for free download on a website and many do not. Of course, as an AAW member, I downloaded your apple article from the site and distributed 6 print copies to a group of students I was teaching your specific topic. This seems quite different to me than having a published article available as a download to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Just curious and looking for the horse’s mouth perspective.
