Anyone out there have any experience - good or bad - with MiniMax USA bandsaws?

I am considering purchase of the MM 16 bandsaw. Check it out at http://www.minimax-usa.com/index.ph...category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=35.

Local woodturning folks have had good luck with MiniMax bandsaws. Checking with the AAW crowd to see what experience(s) you have had with MiniMax USA bandsaws.

Appreciate and look forward to inputs. - John

I've had an MM-20 for about five years. Only problem I've had was of my own creating. I loosened the band after using it and forgot to tighten it back up before turning it on - big bang, bent 171" band! Had to make the plywood template they describe in the manual to re-align the wheels and it works just as well as it did new. Great saw and well worth the price.

I've heard nothing but good things. After a few trials I've convinced myself to go with the MM20 instead of the Laguna 18. the staff at MM are also paragons of friendliness compared to Laguna.

I've had my MM16 for about three years. Does everything I've asked it to do. I would buy another (or maybe an MM24) if anything ever happened to it. Great saw. No problems.
