Hello turners. On May 30th my wife was working in her flower garden and fell breaking her left hip. She had a total left hip replacement and I've been right by her side ever since the fall and throughout her recovery process.

I'm happy to say that my wife has fully recovered now and back to doing light work in the house. She will have to be very careful for the next 6 to 8 months until her hip has totally healed.

I was able to get back in the shop early this week for the first time. This is why I have not posted any thing since her fall. It is good to be turning again! Happy turning everyone!

Glad your back. I'm afraid someday I will need hip replacement. Maybe not but the way it feels now it won't be too many years. Glad your wife is doing so well.

Glad she is doing well and on the road to full recovery.
I asked a body shop owner if he could do anything with this body. He said no...it's a total wreck.o_O
