I remember seeing some mention of bending green turned bowls in a long-ago Fine Woodworking issue, and I know that there is bending involved in wooden hat making. Are there any articles or resources online on the subject? I am interested in the bending of vessel or bowl-like forms rather than spindles, although of course the fundamentals apply in either case.

There was an article in American Woodturner maybe 5 years ago or so. Betty asked me to contribute a small article to go with it. I just don't remember the date. It covered bending wood. I would have to see if I can find it. I have a new computer and they did save all the work from my old one but it's hard to find.
