Thank you for creating the introductions area for the forum. I have been turning wood for about 4 years and focus mainly on bowls. I have been experimenting with color finishes and hybrid resin pieces as well. I am a retired US Navy officer and live in north central Florida; I am a member of both Hands on Woodturners and Woodturners of Alachua County clubs as well as the AAW. This past fall I demonstrated turning a platter to both clubs and hope to learn a couple more projects that I can demonstrate. My work can be seen on Instagram @2_star_turner.
