When gluing the glued half rings to form the bowl, does it matter if the center glue joint is in a straight line vertically or do they need to be offset?
I do Ringmaster and it depends on the effect you want to achieve. For a stagger just pick your poison. If you want it to look like the blank was all one board large enough to turn and no joints then yes they all have to match.
