I have just read the "In the News" article on the front page of the AAW homepage and want to send a congrarulations to Tib. The article was written by Maja Beckstrom of the Pioneer Press and is a brilliant piece. Tib obviously had a major influence in guiding Maja and her kids thru the exhibit and contributing to the woodturning experience for them. If you want to really feel good about the AAW and what goes on in our association please hit the "more" button and read this article. Well done Tib and AAW staff.

Thank you for the kind words!

"Touch This" IS a petting zoo, of sorts.

One of my...um...particularly tactile visitors was tired of hearing "Don't Touch!" and suggested a show of things he could handle to his heart's content. He was probably hoping to run his hands over a Stocksdale bowl or some such, but the rest of our visitors seem very happy with an assortment of woods and simple objects.
