IMG_1390.jpegIMG_5785.jpegIMG_5678.jpegNew to AAW. Live in Merced, California’s Central Valley. Retired Family Therapist. Lots of time now to pursue interests I’ve had for awhile. Have long been an avid hobbyist photographer with interests mostly in fine arts. Enjoy making things for granddaughter which got me started in doing some toys and models. I’ll post a few pictures.

I was introduced to wood turning after visiting with Rick Taylor, a premier turner in New Zealand. Have been learning for a few years and see myself as a relative novice, but fascinated by the process and the surprise inside each piece of wood.IMG_4632.jpeg

Hello Bruce! Very nice forms on the turnings!

I love the toys/models!

BTW, this is not meant as criticism, but in case you don't know you can resize photos while posting if you don't want them so big.
When made smaller, people can still click on them to enlarge. You can resize repeated if needed.

After I drag a photo to a message, I click on it then drag one of the little blue corner squares inward to make the pic the size I want. Using this photo for an example:

Display size as uploaded:

Resized (a little extreme!) to smaller by dragging a corner:

Clicking on this should enlarge it.
