I've seen the Hold Fast version (not anodized) at Woodcraft recently, and it looks like they're available online:

That looks like an old Don Pencil one because I have one identical. He's been out of business for quite a while. I believe Hold fast sells one like Asher mentioned.

Looks like the Don Pencil extension. I also have one except mine is 1”-8tpi, so I use an adapter. I don’t think I have seen one for sale. The closest is Hold Fast mentioned by Asher, basically the same.

That’s the Don Pencil version. Mine is 12” long, 1-1/4”dia. Don stopped making long ago as far as I know. Good to hear someone took up the manufacturing…it really is an indispensable tool in my arsenal.
I’ve not seen anyone offer these in the UK, how is it used? A picture of the setup would be nice.

I have one just like the one in your picture. I bought it about twenty years ago and haven’t used it in at least fifteen years. Mine was made by Don Pencil. I haven’t seen them in my local Rockler or Woodcraft in ages … at least ten years, maybe fifteen.
@Bill Alston Here is a picture. I bought this from a Rockler store clearance for $2.00 12-15 years ago. I didn't even know what it was at the time. I use mine all the time for buffing.

@Tom Gall That is how it was marked when I bought it. I know it was purchased from Rockler maybe 1999 or so. Scroll down on this link and you will see Don Pencil WOOD N THINGS buffing supplies listed.
