The collaboration sounds like fun mostly if I can work with a local beadmaker.

Who is the contact person at the AAW? The form just says contact the AAW but no further info...

Mary Lacer at AAW HQ could probably answer your questions. BTW, if you need a glass bead making partner but don't know anyone locally, you might consider posting a note on one of these forums:

I live on Cape Cod right around the corner from the Sandwich Glass Museum and glass work is a big thing here; beads and blown glass!

From the link above:

"One entrant, but not both, must be a member of either organization."

This wording is a little confusing.

Does it mean what I think it means; only one entrant must be a member of one of these organizations?

Yes, you are correct...if there's a bead maker and woodturner team, only one of you must belong to either the AAW or the ISGB.
