Candle Cups

I recently purchased some candle cups from Craft Supplies and when I tried to stand some dinner candles in them they were not secure. I am planning on marketing some of the candle holders so I am wondering what advice to give to the customer? I am a bit dissaoited as the cups are supposed to hold a standard candle. A previous order worked very well.
