Hello from Missouri! I am a fairly new woodworker (5 years), and I haven't even started turning yet! I will be purchasing my equipment soon, so I have joined here to get some advice.

I am almost 50 and I come from a machinist background. Lathe fundamentals are not new to me, but I know wood turning is a lot different than metal turning. I got to say, some of the work I have seen displayed here on this forum is exceptional! You guy are quite skilled and creative. I hope someday soon I can offer something worthy of posting on this forum.

Thats all for now!

Chris
