I have been watching a lot of Richard Raffan and he often uses what he refers to as shark jaws which are very versatile. I have searched most of the chuck manufacturers and can't find that type jaw. All of my chucks and jaws are Nova.I have searched their website and also Record Power as I understand will they fit Nova Chucks also. Any suggestions from the forum.

This is a link to the vicmarc shark jaws. They are tall serrated jaws with a dovetail at the top.
You might find similar jaws with other manufacturers called tower jaws. ONEWAY has a series of these

I have very similar ones to numbers two and three in your picture, very useful. They are supplied by a company over here called Charnwood and fit Record Power and Nova Chucks.

Edit: I’ve just looked at a RR YouTube video and he calls these Shark Jaws and they’re mounted on a Vicmarc 100 Chuck.

I’ve seen these called Ripple Jaws by other companies.

The Shark Jaws are manufactured by Vicmarc.
 
I don't understand the need for the profile on the outside. Do some make really deep recesses in big pieces where this would be useful? I rarely use more than a shallow recess, some are as shallow as 1/8" even for bowls and large platters.

I use someone similar Nova jaws but they are "grippy" in the inside for tenons but the outside has only a dovetail lip at the end.

John, are these jaws like what you have? I just bought a set on Amazon and looking forward to seeing how the hold my longer workpieces.

I do have those long-nosed jaws for the Nova and like them a lot. But the others I referred to are different. I'm rushing to get out the door and can't check now. Last minute tasks prepping for a demo this evening.
 
I have a set of Vicmarc shark jaws - they are for the 120
Glad to give them to anyone out there (freight collect, of course)
 
I decided to buy a set of these Axminster Jaws, they are much bigger than I expected and weigh just under 1.5 Kg! Very solidly built in Stainless Steel.
I’ll be using them with my SK100 but are pictured here with my Axminster GK88.

Do any of you have either one of these jaws?

I was just trying to figure out which would be more useful overall before I spent the money.

I like the grip on the outside of the one instead of just the dovetail on the outside of the other but the teeth are not as fine as a normal gripper jaw. And that's what I mostly use are my gripper jaws. Says good for green wood.

Thought I might try out a hollow form someday and who can resist buying another tool.
 
Deep outside ripple jaws might be useful for remounting hollow forms with a suitable size opening?
I have a couple of sets of grippers jaws in different sizes and they’re quite sharp, which is good for initial turning. For remounting though, using plenty of packing like router matt, the ripple or shark jaws might be a good option?
 
In the 70+ sets of jaws I have I'm sure there is a set or 2 with teeth in them but I have never ever had a need for jaws with teeth. Is there an advantage over a well made tenon?

I’ve seen them used lots of times in demos on timber that doesn’t have a Tenon, including square stock. But to answer the question - better drip over a larger area.
It may be that what and how you turn doesn’t require anything more than a Tenon though, we’re all different.

If the serrations inside this oneway #2 tower jaw set qualify as “teeth”, then yes there is an advantage over short dovetail jaws - for long/tall work like a vase the long tenon engagement (~1-1/4”) provides a more secure mounting. The 1/4” dovetail at the top works well for bowls and shorter work, and provides better access without vibration.
