Cocobolo Box (not another urn)

While I, too, like the shape and concept, it seems to me that the plain Jane vanilla maple with uniform growth rings detracts from the exceptionally attractive cocobolo. The light colored top really grabs my attention, but it's the cocobolo that deserves it. A light colored top might work fine, but somewhere out there in the wonderful world of wood is a lid that does justice to the cocobolo, the excellent shape, and your skill. Just my 2 cents worth, and it's grossly overvalued at that price.

I appreciate your feedback. Tom.
My original thoughts when picking the lid was I didn't want to have too much going on there with the grain in the cocobolo.
Maybe I missed the mark on this one.
Maybe a nice piece of quilted maple would have been a better choice.
I appreciate all critiques and feedback.
Thanks again,
George
