Also receiving an Award of Excellence in the Instant Gallery at the AAW Symposium was Heather Marusiak. You would instantly recognize one of her unique and evocative, and occasionally creepy, pieces which appear periodically on our gallery. While she doesn't spout off frequently on the forum like some of us, she is still part of the family. Way to Go, Heather! Well deserved.

Thanks for the shout out! It was a great surprise and a great honor for me—felt a bit surreal! There were so many fantastic pieces in the Instant Gallery… I had my family in attendance with me at the symposium, and it was a joy to share the excitement with them.
