Thanks for letting me join. Ive been turning for about 8 months and have really come to enjoy it. I’ve been doing traditional woodworking for about 20 yrs them got myself a small CNC (Onefinity) last year and have made cool stuff on there.
My plan is to do “normal” woodturning as well as some epoxy bowls and vases. I normally turn at a makerspace near my home but i recently bought a Harvey T60 that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. That way I can create a mess in my own garage instead causing troubles elsewhere. The lathe will sit there for a bit as I had my knee replaced two days ago. Walking and standing for too long is a struggle but I am taking 3 months off work and hope that I will get some tome to turn in the beginning of January. My day job is as an Orthopedic Surgery PA. Here are a couple of pics of things i made this year.
