Thank you for the approval. Little bit about myself. I am a bricklayer by trade. I have two beautiful children, beautiful wife of 23 years. I am from Northwest Indiana (suburb of Chicago.) I have been turning for about a year and a half. I focus mainly on Bowls and boxes. I still have a lot to learn and look forward to any advice I can get. Again thank you.
 
welcome to the forum. Find a local turning club will get you lots of answers and a chance to see live demos at meetings , plus many other benefits . Next look for a class to give you some hands on help. Then we are always here to assist if we can
 
Green Valley Wood Products out of Brazil Indiana is a good source for wood blanks in your area. When I was doing production turning Green Valley would provide special cut orders when I needed them. Couple hours away from your location.

Thanks Mike I’ve never heard of them going to have to look into that. Have a hard time finding Drywood for boxes.
