KMS Tools in Canada has clearance prices on Nova chucks again. They have G3 chucks with inserts and jaws for $90CAD, or ~$65USD. Shipping for 2 was $28CAD, which came to about $150USD total for 2 chucks. One caveat: the last time I bought clearance Nova chucks from KMS (a pair of Supernova 2s last year), they were the older version that tightens counter-clockwise, in case this bothers you. (I just put a drop of red nail polish around the key holes on my "backwards" Nova chucks to identify them quickly. It's a little annoying to have some chucks closing one way and others the opposite, but it's less annoying than swapping chuck jaws all the time.)

Oops, now I see that the description says these are for sale in Canada only. I didn't read that far down before placing the order, so we'll see if they cancel mine.

I was able to buy one from the US. Just sent the shipping email to me. These are the older G3 48202, which turns "backwards", ie tightens CCW. Comes with the bird beak jaws, not the newer dovetail jaws. ~$81 w/shipping, can't find used ones for that, so I got one to reduce jaw changes. This chuck works just fine for small/medium work.

I put mine with my mini Coke jaws and have to remember to turn the opposite way I’m used to. But it’s a fine chuck.

I took a look at the Nova chucks on Aliexpress, and while the site claims they're an authorized retailer, the chuck they're showing is unbranded and does not appear on Nova's website. The mini chuck they're selling seems to be quite small and is not compatible with normal Nova jaws. The smallest chuck I've seen from Nova is their direct-thread midi chuck, which *is* compatible with most of the standard Nova jaws.
