I was in Home Depot to pick up a couple of things. I noticed a section of "abrasives" with the Diablo label- sanding sponges, reuseable sandpaper, sandpaper, to list a few. Any one have experience with their products?
Maybe similar to Abranet? What is reusable sandpaper? I use most of my abrasives more than once.
Exactly . It’s a mesh abrasive and it is an absolute bargain when bought in their 5” disc multi assortment pack for $20 and a steal when it goes on clearance after Xmas for $15 at some stores.Maybe similar to Abranet?![]()
Why? Tell us you about your bad experience. What do you use now?Found their 5 inch sanding disc to be garbage
I've used Diablo sanding products and I like them. They do last a long time. Interesting, on the brand side, Diablo and Freud (which someone else mentioned) are both part of the Bosch tool family, and I do like Bosch power hand tools.I was in Home Depot to pick up a couple of things. Use it like you own the sandpaper company!Similar to Abranet or dry wall screen.
While we were looking at the display, I told my wife about the saying, "Use sandpaper like someone else is paying for it."
I bought a pack of regular 220 grit disks. Compared to some mirka gold disks they last a fraction as long. Didn’t try the mesh stuffWhy? Tell us you about your bad experience. What do you use now?
Did you use the reg. discs or the mesh ones ? What’s really being discussed here is Diablo’s mesh abrasives , which do last as long as Mikra’s .I agree They just do not hold up like Mirka Gold. I have them on my oscillating spindle sander but for my ROS 5 inch just did not do well
