I'm in the market for some replacement jaws for a oneway, made of nylon or the high density plastic like the aftermarket items made by vicmarc for their chucks. I often have to make plywood or mdf jaws and would like the option of having plastic jaws for changeouts.

CS has nylon jaws listed on their site, but they're fairly easy to make out of 10/4 UHMW stock. There may be a "how to" either on this site or in the WoodCentral Articles section.

Check with google in plastis or HDWM PLASTCI ...I've used it for years , where to buy? google ???

McMaster-Carr carries heavy (UHMW) polyethylene but also Nylon at 6 times the price; try local plastics jobbers; Google UHMW or Nylon. Find somebody local with a scrap or cut-offs bin and you'll save some $$.
