Years ago I found plans and built a carving stand utilizing a reverse chucking adapter and pipe whereby you affix the work via the chuck to the stand at a bench. I no longer have the device and would like to make another. Anyone familiar with the plans?

You can get reverse chuck adaptors from Oneway and from Bestwoodtools. The one from Oneway has a 3/4x 19 tpi internal thread. The one from Bestwoodtools has a #2 'morse taper. You can also find 1" x8 threaded adaptors with 5/8" bored hole online. Do a Google search for 1" external to 5/8" internal threaded adaptor. I have not looked in my searches but Oneway may sell other external pitches with the 3/4" internal.

John, I know. I'm looking for those long-ago plans (or newer) for the stand. The reverse chuck adapter is 1 1/4" - MT2 and I have it.
