Educational Opportunity Grants for 2011

Would have been nice if there had been a heads up when the the 2011 EOGrant application period opened. If there was one I missed it.

There was a half-page announcement in the December journal, page 6. In the October journal, page 17, another announcement, half a page.

Thanks to the Collectors and Donators

The EOG money is raised through an Auction at the annual symposium.

AAW Members donate pieces and AAW members buy them.

Many pieces sell for thousands of dollars and a few for $10,000!!!!!

a special thanks:
to our Collectors who buy many of the pieces
to our professional artists who donate many of the pieces
to our average members who donated
and our average members who bought.

Actually the act of donating or purchasing set you apart from average.

Thanks for your generosity,

Time to plan on making something to donate at St Paul

I love these auctions - they are great fun for a good cause - I have two of Jim Christiansen's pieces, a Mary Lacer and a Christian Delhon that I added to my collection from various AAW auctions.
