Elm burl bowl

Here are two views of an elm burl bowl just completed. One of my first attempts with aburl. Two voids in the blank, filled the outside with coffee grounds, the inside with brass powder. Finish is three coats danish oil, two coats wiping poly ( home made, 50-50 gloss poly and mineral spirits) followed by buffing with the Beall system. Size is 4.75 in. dia, 2 in high( 12.5 x 5 cm). I am reasonably pleased :cool2:
