Our local Empty Bowls Auction is coming up in May. These are held across the country to benefit the local Food Banks. While this has been mostly the pottery bowls, they welcome our wood bowls. If you can, have a bowl turning demo, and have that be the challenge project for the next month. A very worthy cause, and a chance to give back to the community.

Spent 3 days turning for them one time. It was fun. I didn't produce nearly as many bowls as the potters but we all had fun. A very worthwhile cause.

Good Cause !

We also do it here in Troy, NY. My wife is a potter and her Guild organizes the event. We have donated and volunteered every year so far.

Thanks for the shout-out Robo !
