Epoxy Glue Question

I am making cheese planes for Christmas gifts this year and need to know what type of epoxy to use to glue in the plane to the wood handle I am turning. I would think a slow setting epoxy that is not too thick to get to the bottom of hole would be best. Open to suggestions as to what type of epoxy would be best. thanks
 
When I make handles for cheese cutters, salad bowl forks and spoons I use System Three 5 minute epoxy from wood craft. I use a small piece of wire to make sure it gets down and the hole is well coated.

I recently saw a demo by Marylin Campbell Mainly on the use of epoxy combined in your turnings and how she creates her split turnings . An exceptionally good demo . Anyway She uses the West system check them out online this epoxy is first class . Hope that helps for you.

gluing up utensils

Used to have a terrible time with getting superglue all over and stuff not getting to the bottom. My friendly "pals" at True value hardware suggested epoxy putty. Have been using it ever since. you roll out a "worm". let it set up a minute or 2 (I use the 20 minute curing stuff) so is more rigid, and then thread into the hole. push some at the top to fill and then push the tang into the hole. Sometimes some stuff oozes out thru the seams and I use a thin knife to scrape off as best I can. Has made my life a whole lot easier. Gretch
