face shield respirator

John look at the Resp-O-Rator it is super light, can easily be worn under a face mask, exhausts downward so no fogging, good to .3 microns and is reasonably priced. I wear my airshield pro when turning dry wood but when sanding I have found nothing that beats the Resp-O-Rator for protection and ease of use.
Agree. I'm a big fan of the "Resp-O-Rator." Ease of use and protection effectiveness can't be beat for the money.

Odie: Just passed on what finally worked for me. I bought one of those $6 swimmer's nose plugs on Amazon and fiddled with the wire that goes over the bridge of the nose...until now I don't even know that I have it on.

The noseplug is made from a small clamp cut down. The rubber tubing extensions give it some flexibility, and the "O" rings give it a little more grip at the base of the nose to keep it in place. See.....I told you it was ugly! It does work very well, though. :D

Donovan.....In my experimenting, I've tried a couple different pairs of swimmer's nose plugs....and, they didn't work out for me. This is not to say that they won't work for others, so it's a good suggestion in this thread......just in case others might want to give them a try. ;)
